A beautiful and engaging exhibition of contextual art opens this Saturday afternoon 28th October at 1pm in Number One St Columb’s Court, just off Bishop Street.  The exhibition is the result of a novel arts and architectural partnership between MAK9 and Holywell Trust. 15 artists have taken part in the project, using a variety of materials to respond to the structures and fabric of heritage buildings at risk, within and outside Derry’s Walls. This Saturday, the artists will be in Number One and the Deanery Basement to discuss how they developed their handmade objects and sculptures, in response to locations as varied as Boom Hall and Derry Walls.

The exhibition entitled “Draw on the Walls”  will be open on Wednesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday afternoons during the month of October.  Access to both properties involves steps.
